Marco Cipriani

Marco Cipriani earned a B.S. in ¸£Àûµ¼º½s from Bocconi University in Milan, an M.Sc. in Econometrics and Mathematical ¸£Àûµ¼º½s from the London School of ¸£Àûµ¼º½s and a Ph.D. in ¸£Àûµ¼º½s from New York University. Before starting graduate school, he worked in the currency research department of JP Morgan in London.

Dr. Cipriani’s articles have appeared in Open Economies Review, American ¸£Àûµ¼º½ Review, and the Journal of the European ¸£Àûµ¼º½ Association. His research interests focus on the microstructure of financial markets, with emphasis on the role of private information in explaining herd behavior, financial crises and contagion. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in International Financial Markets and Open Economy Macroeconomics.
